Dear IPA Canada Members;

Here is a reminder that the Nomination process for the Board of Directors is closing Friday, October 30th, 2020 at 18:00hrs EDT.

Board of Director Nominations

Members can self nominate or have another member nominate them. If you nominate fellow member please ensure that they are willing to stand for the election. The nominee must contact me at president@ipa-canada.org within 48 hours of their nomination to confirm their candidacy.

When the nominee has confirmed the nomination I will send a confirmation email to both the nominator and the nominee.

Make sure that you follow the directions on the Nomination form. The Nomination form is to be sent to me at president@ipa-canada.org. It is imperative that you include the nominee’s ’s name, email, Region and membership date, as well as a resume or covering letter.

You will find the Board of Director Nomination Form at: https://www.ipa-canada.org/ipaforms. Choose Director from the drop-down menu on the form.

Christmas Idea..

Region 11 member Will Toffan has written an interesting Canadian Crime novel entitled “Watching The Devil Dance”. It can be ordered from Chapters, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, today on-line with a 3 day delivery. You can also buy it off the rack at the aforementioned book stores between now and Nov.10.

It is the full and historically accurate story of Windsor spree killer Matthew Lamb – Canada’s first and certainly most controversial spree killer. There are also many pop cultural references throughout of living during the 1960s. It would make a great Christmas present and it has been getting excellent reviews for other authors such as Vanessa Brown, Michael Arntfield, Margaret Atwood, etc…even good reviews from England and New Zealand.

Communications is the life’s blood of any organization. One of the more important streams of this organisation’s communication flow is the Newsletter. We are still looking for an Editor for the newsletter, we have the software, we’ll get the stories …all we need is the Editor…please consider this opportunity to serve your association.

Je crois que chaque province a son propre prix de forfait, alors assurez-vous d'identifier votre région. IPA Canada facilite cette occasion et tout accord commercial qu'un membre peut conclure est strictement entre eux, Bell et le fournisseur. Si vous vous inscrivez, vous devrez fournir votre numéro de membre IPA pour vérification.
