It is with great pleasure that we invite you to participate in the IPA Canada 2019 Training Conference, hosted at the world class Royal Canadian Mounted Police – Pacific Region Training Centre in Chilliwack/Vancouver, British Columbia from August 12 to 17, 2019.

The overall theme of the Conference is “Operational Policing: Leadership & Modernization of Tactics. The program will develop effective leadership skills in various aspects of operational policing from management of critical incidents, maintaining the psychological well being of officers, increasing morale, improving retention and promoting a healthy work/life balance.
 

The program will also foster leadership skills through practical training and by understanding and utilizing the principals of modern tactics. These sessions will enhance and improve the effectiveness of police operations in your law enforcement agencies. The training program is suited for all levels of law enforcement officers including current and future leaders in your organization.

During the six day event, you will also have the opportunity to experience some of the diverse Canadian culture and outdoor landscapes, through organized activities and visits to various attractions in the Vancouver area.

The working language of the Training Conference will be in English.
 

The total cost of the Training Conference per participant is $1,050.00 Canadian dollars.

This payment will include the following:

• Course registration fee

• 5 days of world class police leadership and tactics training

• 1 day visit to Vancouver area tourist attractions

• 7 nights (8 day) stay in an individual hotel room with private bathroom

• Access to exercise facilities and other amenities

• 3 meals per day (except one lunch and one dinner while on tour)

• Organized social activities

Flights and other travel costs are the responsibility of the participants.
